Cancellation policy.

To cancel your CSA subscription, send us an email. We understand that things come up suddenly, but if you can, please give us at least two weeks notice if you are cancelling for reasons beyond your control (moving, change in situation, etc.). Please keep in mind that farming is weather and condition dependent, and things do not always go according to the crop plan. There may come a week which you feel your share is not to your liking in quantity or variety, this is understood as the nature of a CSA program. To cancel for dissatisfaction with quantities or varieties we will assess on a case by case basis.


Refund/Replacement policy.

If you believe you deserve a credit for poor quality, damaged, or otherwise unsatisfactory items, please email us. We will evaluate cases individually. Be sure to include what day/time you picked up the items, how it was stored, and pictures if possible. We want to share the best quality food possible, so your feedback helps us improve our systems and catch issues early on. Refunds for a CSA share will be considered after the full delivery of the share to be able to assess the full value that was delivered.


 


A Note about CSA’s

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a mutually benificial arrangement between community members and farmers/producers. Members receive a discount on fresh and local food, and farmers receive the monies at the beginning of the season they need in order to purchase growing supplies and hire the workers needed to grow for the season.

The farmer makes a commitment to the members, to grow , harvest, and distribute to them their allotments for the entire season.

But, it is extremely important to know that this is not a guarantee. Weather, pests, fire, disease, and economic collapse are all elements of any farm. We ask that our members understand in full before they join our CSA, that they understand we will do everything within our power to deliver on our commitments. But also that there may be instances of shortages, failed crops, and limited supply.

Members should weigh this possibility carefully before signing up, as if they become dissatisfied and wish to discontinue their share (As of August 2020 we have a less than 1% cancelation rate.) we cannot guarantee a refund.

Refunds will be assessed on a case by case basis.


Can I change my Delivery address/

Yes, please allow us two weeks lead time for any changes to your delivery location.

Can I put my account on hold?

No, you can however opt to give out your share to another individual.
